From our seats in the second row, Angus shredding away... my favorite guitar player.
You don't know what or who TSO is? They're a band of progressive rock n rollers with an added selection of strings, a small chorus made up of singers who also all have solos, and a featured violinist. In the first half of their Christmas concert, they play a rock opera, The Lost Christmas Eve. I never get tired of the story. I don't see how anyone could fail to enjoy it. Classical music on rock instruments! The second half of the show is devoted to some of their old favorites and some new material. Everyone has heard their Wizards of Winter since it's been on so many commercials. I hear their music in stores at Christmastime, too. So I'm sure you have. But here's a video since we can all use more Christmas lights and music!
Then we get to the creative adventure, T!m Holtz's 4th Annual 12 Tags of Christmas! Tim's tags are a new Christmas tradition. Each night at midnight, he posts instructions to make the latest Christmas tag on his blog. People comment, prizes are given away, everyone creates lots of festive tags, and in the end, even more prizes are given away! It's a great way to let yourself relax and be creative for a few minutes during a busy season in our busy, busy lives.
So put on some TSO and go make some art!

I love TSO! What a great way to jump start the season!
Horray for Tim's 12 Tags of Christmas. I'm finishing up an essay as quickly as I can so that I can play along over the next twelve tag days.
I had to click on the music. It was fantastic. You have a very good choice in music.
I stopped by to thank you for the incredibly poignant message you left on my blog. I can't stop crying. I never got to meet Gina in person, but I felt like I really knew her through our e-mails and her art. My heart goes out to you because I can tell how much she meant to you from the message you left. Thank you for sharing. You are so right about her wonderful art. There's nobody like her, now or in the future.
